Biography
Emily was born and raised in upstate New York. She earned her B.A. at Ithaca College and her M.Ed. in the Arts in Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She lives in Cambridge, MA with her husband and her greyhound Benjamin.
Her current work deals with material culture, capitalism and waste. She aims to transform consumer "junk" into playful handmade artworks. She also enjoys making exuberant artworks which pull from themes around childhood, imagination and play.
